Carbon emission management has become a crucial element of global efforts to combat climate change.
Afforestation projects and forest conservation are among the most common types of projects generating carbon credits. Nearly all emission removal credits retired in 2024 came from nature-based projects, and about 36% of emission reduction credits also originated from such projects.
